The new Luxurious Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 40mm 18k White Gold Ref. 5740/1G-001 is the perfect combination of traditional elegance and sporty style with a timeless design accentuated by the subtle alternation of satin and polished finishing elements handcrafted on the generous case, on the bezel, on the bracelet. To achieve perfect readability (a Patek Philippe requirement for all its watches), this model’s Sunburst blue dial with horizontal embossing is equipped with 18k White Gold luminous indexes. The time is indicated by large baton-style hour and minute hands in 18k White Gold with a luminescent coating. There is also a white, finely printed second’s track. There are three combined sub-dials on the main dial. The sub-register of the day of the month is indicated by ultra-thin wand-shaped hands like the other sub-dials and is located at the 6 o’clock position, where you’ll find an integrated moon phase window, dividing the same space with a black and white moon phase disc. At the 3 o’clock position, you’ll find a sub-dial that serves two purposes. The outer part indicates the month of the year, while the inner part indicates the leap year indicator. At the 9 o’clock position, you will see an auxiliary register for the day of the week, and in its center is an AM/PM day and night indicator. A polished 18k White Gold Screw-down crown with a ribbed edge for easy grip and the Patek Philippe logo is completes the watch’s harmony.  The dial closed by a Scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal. Sapphire-crystal too case back, which allows of the case, allows you to see the magical work of the movement. The wide, rounded octagonal 18k White Gold bezel, satin on the front and polished on the sides, provides a wide view of the dial as the horizon is visible through the porthole. What’s more, the side protrusions, also called “lugs”, are inspired by the hinges on these windows. The Model has Patek Philippe Caliber 240 Q, with a self-winding mechanical movement containing 27 Jewels, with a power reserve of min. 38 hours – max. 48 hours.
